Following on from my LinkedIn post last week, I had several of the parents contact me to train their kids to learn the coding basics. I have accepted a few additional kids and conducted the first session on Saturday so that they can get up to speed when they attend the regular session for week 2 on Monday.
There were 12 kids who attended week 2 course. This week we covered what Pair Progranning is. What the Do's and Don'ts are in a Pair Programming scenario. Now the kids started using blockly to drag and drop and get the object move and get to the destination. I have also introduced the concept of how to debug step by step and how to use the Repeat block. Kids were quite comfortable when using the repeat block.
In the class we started Lesson 6 and the home work was to complete all the exercises in Lesson 6.
