My presentation at Conferenz event -- 2020 Management Accountant Conference

Today I did two presentations to an entirely  different audience at one of the Conferenz events -- 2020 Management Accountant Conference.  As the conference event indicates, the audience were Accountants and Management Accountants and other financial professionals.

I had two sessions to talk about as below -- About Artificial Intelligence and Business Intelligence.

I really enjoyed presenting about Azure Cognitive Services and show off Power BI as most of the audience didn't know much about these tools.  Had a great interaction with the audience and it is a really good feeling that they have learnt something new and I could see the excitement in a lot of them as they got to know more about these tools.

Some of the photos from the event below.

Difinity 2020 Day 1

Difinity2020 Day 1 was an amazing day at Cordis.  It started with Reza introducing the conference followed by the Keynote Power Platform demos by Charles Sterling, Ken Puls, Leila Etaati, John Liu, Heidi Hastings.

Highlight of the sessions that I attended was  Getting-hands-on-with-microsoft-power-virtual-agents  By Charles Sterling

In this session all the attendees got to build a #lowcode bot and publish it within 30 min.

I had an opportunity to present my session Build-your-first-model-with-azure-machine-learning-services   The audience were very responsive to my questions and I am confident that they learnt how to build a Linear Regressoin Model in the 45 min. session.

Thanks Charles Sterling for providing the  gifts for my most interactive participants.

I am also thankful to Ravit Jain of @Packt Publication for providing me with the books titled 'AI Carsh Course' written by Hadelin-de-ponteves to be given to 4 attendees.  This book is really good for those who are starting to understand what Artificial Intelligence is and would like to know about it.

Thanks Ginger Grant, Anupama Natarajan and Leila Etaati for your help with my demo.

Thanks to Reza and Leila for organising this event and also to all the volunteers who have helped in this event.  Some of the photos of my session below

I really enjoyed presenting at MSIgnite The Tour Sydney event on Day 1.  I presented two sessions as below :

Session 1:

What will kids teach us when they start loving data

In this session I have shared my learnings from helping kids to learn about databases and data visualisations.  It was amazing to see 590 people register for this theatre session. I was overwhelmed by the response of the people after the session.  More than 10 people lined up with a lot of questions.  Thanks to all those who have asked questions.

Session 2

Top 5 tips for Azure Cognitive services

In this session I have covered the tips around how to test the text analytics and the qnamaker  APIs created in Azure Portal using Postman for Key Phrases Language detection and sentiment analysis.
I have als0 covered how to extract text from images using OCR using Azure cloudshell.
Altogether about 640 attendees have registered to attend.

It was overall a unique experience.  Thanks Shiva Ford for this opportunity.

Special thanks to Sudhir Rawat for his help on getting my demos for the Language detection and qnamaker work just an hour before my session.
