It has been quite a while again since I have posted about the free databases and data visualisation classes for 9 to 14 year old kids. So here I am with another update.
For the last 3 weeks, the kids have chosen their datasets that they want to work on. The datasets were varied from windmills, UK population, volcanic erupitions, consumer spending, credit card transactions, artists etc.
I have taught them how to create Bookmarks and everyone are making good use of the bookmarks in their reports. Some have started using custom visuals.
One of the parents of the kids, Goverdhani Tammina stepped up to help the kids with their questions as there were lots of questions from the kids.
I really enjoyed the past three weeks as i could see the joy the kids are having when they are developing visualisations with the data they like.
